The free version is enough for most disputes: you show the report, the other side backs down. PRO is for more serious situations. Insurers and courts usually want full-resolution photos, and Sectigo, a Qualified Trust Service Provider under the EU's eIDAS regulation, confirms the date and time of your photos, not us. Do it right after the session, since the stamp confirms the day it was submitted, not the date of earlier photos. If it ends up in court, you'll be glad you have PRO.

Questions before you download
Are HandProof photos admissible as evidence in court?
Photos with a date and an integrity seal can be treated as credible evidence: you can show them to a judge, a lawyer, or an insurer, and any of them can verify no one altered them. In PRO, where the date is also confirmed by Sectigo with an eIDAS-qualified time stamp, you have even stronger, legally-recognized grounds.
What is independent date confirmation?
Sectigo confirms the date on your report, not HandProof, so no one can claim you issued yourself a certificate. Anyone can verify it without us. Do it right after the session, because the stamp confirms the day the document was submitted, not the date of earlier photos.
Does the other side need the app to open the report?
No. The report is a plain PDF, and a PRO export is a ZIP archive of JPEG photos and a date certificate. A landlord, a rental company, a lawyer or an insurer can open all of it without HandProof.
What happens if I change phones?
In the PRO version you export all your documentation to a single file and load it on your new phone. Your evidence travels with you.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. Taking photos and generating a report works fully offline. Internet is only needed for the one-time date confirmation in a PRO report.
What if the other side refuses to accept my report?
The report does not settle a dispute for you, it shows the condition on a given day. Weighing evidence is always up to whoever resolves the dispute. In practice the other side usually backs down once it sees dated photos instead of assurances.
Is the app available for iPhone?
Right now Android only, through Google Play. The iOS version is not published yet.
